This category includes panels related to rates, billing, limits, and usage history.

Rates

This panel details the rates for the organization.

Rates

This provides a list of all resources, including details and buy rates:

Column Description
Region where the specified resource is physically located (for example, Sydney)
Resource Type the type of resource (either a License, IP Address, Instance, Disk or Bandwidth)
Resource Name user friendly name to identify the resource
Buy Rate the rate at which these resources are bought by this organization (setting a value for this overrides the default sell rate from the parent reseller)

The save button at the bottom will save any changes.

Billing

Billing settings for the selected organization can be managed from this panel.

Viewing Payment Method

The current payment method for this organization is listed under the Payment method heading.

Viewing and changing the Last Billing Date

The last billing date is displayed under the Last Billing Date heading, and can be changed to help estimate the current amount spent since that time. To change this press the Change Last Billing Date button, and select the desired date.

Estimated Current Spend

This estimates how much this organization has spent this billing period (as set above). The costs are broken down into:

  • Instances: The estimated costs of running the instances
  • Disks: The estimated costs of disk space and disk type used
  • Licenses: The estimated costs of the licenses used
  • Public IP addresses: The estimated costs of the number of allocated public IP addresses
  • Bandwidth: The estimated costs of the amount of bandwidth used

And gives back an estimated total cost for the current billing period.

Estimated Account Position

This estimates the total amount due, which is the estimated cost for the current billing period, plus any outstanding costs from previous billing periods.

Limits

This panel allows you to specify limits on the amount of resources that can be used by this organization.

Viewing and changing Usage Limits

Usage limits can exist on a variety of resources. These limits are also inherited from parent resellers, and are shown in the Global limits section. However, these limits can be overridden by selecting the ⚙ Actions menu button or right clicking the limit, and selecting Bypass which disables the limit, or Override which overrides the limit with a new limit for the organisation. The State column shows the status of each inherited limit.

The organisation specific limits are shown in the section Organisation limits. These limits are enforced in addition to the global limits, except for those which are explicitly bypassed. Organisation specific limits can be edited or deleted through the context menu shown by the ⚙ Actions menu button or right clicking the limit. Additional organisation specific limits can be created by selecting the Add limit button.

The available usage limits are:

  • the number of Disks allowed
    • what disk tiers are allowed
    • what regions are allowed
  • the number of Instances allowed
    • whether this restriction is on instances in general or on running instances

Usage History

This is a used tool to generate usage reports for given time frames, and includes information on historical usage for Instances, Disks, IP Addresses and Bandwidth.

Generating a Usage History Report

The available options available for generating this report are:

  • From: The start date of the time frame for which the report should be generated for.
  • To: The end date of the time frame for which the report should be generated for.
  • Types: The type of report that should be generated. There are two options available, and at least one must be selected for the report to be generated. These options are:
    • Detailed: This gives a report based on individual items.
    • Summary: This gives a report based totals per resource.

The report can then be generated by selecting the Generate button. This will cause a zip file to be downloaded, containing csv files corresponding to the types selected.
